Day 2 at the Races

We won our first two heats today although our times were not as good as we would have liked.  We are sitting 4th going into the final 200M tomorrow am.  The weather was still very windy and hard to get the boats lined up for the starts.  Tomorrow is a new day.  We only have that one final.  Sunday is our 500M race.  Life in Penang outside the races have been good.  The food has been great. We are sticking to western food as it is safe for our stomachs for the races.   Dad isn't objecting as he is enjoying the steak dinners that he has had.  We did manage to squeeze in a visit to the Butterfly garden which was spectacular.  Other than that, shopping is quite cheep.  This internet cafe is huge!  There must be more than 125 computers.  In the morning it is only our team that makes the regular visits but in the evening it is packed with young guys and girls gaming.
